History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Jacoba alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sculptor. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.
