History: Justin was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Doctor responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gifted student he started as a Adventurer, but he got bored and became a Miller. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
