History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ermina grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ermina. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature nunchaku.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She's also a talented Engraver, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Gunter was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Unemployed. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
