History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Engraver. She was granted divine powers by her dying brother.

Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
