History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her parents enrolled her in a Paladin school at a young age so that she could practice her martial talents. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: Simon wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
