He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'9" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He is wearing a long, grey cloak. His brown hair is still thick. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Raymond took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up monstrous two handed axe and armor he uses now. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
