History: Adelard was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Richard has worked very hard to control his curse. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: She wears a simple tan robe with blue stripes complete with hood, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 5'5" when asserting herself. Her hair is blonde and curly. Her violet eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 6'5". He wears blue painted combat armor at almost all times, and his gloved hand is found clutching a nunchaku. His hair is chestnut, silky, and of moderate length. This gray eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and an old rival family wants him found
