History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Roland was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. She keeps her black hair in a flapper bob. Her eyes are likewise blue.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: She was born in the south. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: Patrick was born with his father's beautiful face. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Navigator work with an outfit from a few towns over. Navigator work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Being a Navigator kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
