His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Dean was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
