History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and a deep hatred of illithids

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. After coming to the age of reason, Elysande took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Elysande fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
