History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Jacoba was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A gifted student she started as a Tanner, but she got bored and became a Navigator. She struck the Navigator job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Navigator responsibilities is difficult.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
