Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. A true patriot, Emmeline would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When Emmeline reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Alexandre embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
