History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Laborer arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and balancing her hectic life and new laborer responsibilities is difficult

Her eyes are green and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Dyer profession.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Matilda was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Performer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Performer work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
