History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. After a long history of fighting, Elysande and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
