When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Ahlyssa was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Banker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Banker responsibilities is difficult; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Sybil grew up listening to her father's many stories. Through the years after Sybil was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Sybil's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
