History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Cory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Personality: Bertram wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of goblins once and for all.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Geoffrey liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He now mingles about in high society.
