History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and to reunite with his old friends

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. When Theodoric reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
