His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, John is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born in the east to a Shipwright, John learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has achieved small success as a Shipwright.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
