She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. After a long history of fighting, Agatha and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
