Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Ralf enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gifted student he started as a Masseuse, but he got bored and became a Roofer. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Agnes embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Agnes is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Agnes was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Agnes's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and further expansion of business
