History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. In his youth he was part of a gang. History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Miles grew up listening to his father's many stories. His first spouse was a Sage, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
