Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and doesn't want to be a detective and was forced into it by her family

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: She is a husky woman, who tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. She wears her brown hair up. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Avice was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Recently the stress of being a Sailor has made it difficult for her to sleep.
