History: Ralf was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Through the years after Melissa was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Melissa's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she is wearing a tight grey one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. She has dyed her greying black hair a little too much giving a sharp black color. Her gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. The war was a terrible time for her, and Ahlyssa does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
