History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

He has a long silver beard with little hanging trinkets. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Miner but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He comes from a rich western family. Through the years after Dean was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Dean's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
