History: He was born into a rich family. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He became a Cartwright soon after.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
