History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. At some point he was captured by giants and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of giants

History: Born in the north to a Healer, Emeny learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She tends to her Healer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
