History: Theodoric lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Theodoric was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. In her youth she was a Scribe, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
