He worked as a Sailor, and he later adopted a second son.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lewis grew up listening to his father's many stories. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: Godfrey was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her childhood dream was to be a Navigator, but she was a colossal failure. She tends to her Scribe job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and to end her boredom
