Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears tattered old clothes. His black hair is unkempt and raggedy. This hazel eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes drow are coming to abduct people. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. John was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. She wears her white hair up in a very large beehive style do. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.
Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.
History: Born in the south to a Apothecary, Anne learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: Guy lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and wants to raise his children well

Description: He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He carries with him a set of glaives, each one with a emerald on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He wears his auburn hair up in a very large beehive style do. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.
History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.
Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands.
