History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Emmeline was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Emmeline's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Carpenter.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it
