History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Roger was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 4 years.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His brown hair is heavily combed to the left. His green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Server they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Painter, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Personality: The woman has a huge range of feeling. She will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how she will be a better person from this day on. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her first spouse was a Sage, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and she is greedy

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Crown-heir. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Crown-heir for hire.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and expand her business
