History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. A true patriot, Matilda would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Matilda grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Matilda. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.
