Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has never given up on his music dream.

History: Gifted from a young age, Millicent studied abroad. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Millicent alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Carter. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing dancing.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He is bald on top and has large white tufts of hair around his ears. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Everard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and someone believes him a fraud
