Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears professional attire. His moppish chestnut hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Bernard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against brigands

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and he's looking for his big break
