History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, John was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Beatrice was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
