History: Adelard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is her passion
