History: Rolf lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. After a long history of fighting, Rolf and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Juliana was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents enrolled her in a Paladin school at a young age so that she could practice her martial talents. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
