Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Description: This tall, slender man wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His hair is cut close to his head. He has gleaming, smiling brown eyes.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Description: She likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. She has wavy chestnut hair. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. Cecily is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Cecily was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Farmer they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Carpenter, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'3" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He wears a small hat to hide his balding. His eyes are brown and catlike.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
