Description: He is a physically imposing dark-skinned man. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized grey coat. He has dyed his greying chestnut hair a little too much giving a sharp chestnut color. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. Hubert enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Hubert lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He got into the Guard business at a young age. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. During his travels, Balimaar and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Balimaar discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Balimaar fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
