Personality: Trey wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against illithids

Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Laborer. He's also a talented Bricklayer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Laborer responsibilities is difficult.
