History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Manfred grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. Heward enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Heward was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
