His skin is also unnaturally pale. His white hair has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes are a pleasant blue.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Shane embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. The war was a terrible time for him, and Shane does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Shane was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Shane's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When Eloise reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
