Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Giselle is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Giselle was born on a far western island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Stableman. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: She wears suspenders and blue workpants. Her shirt is yellow, and she wears a heavy blue leather apron most of the time, and carries ceremonial daggers. Her hair is long and auburn with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small blue clips. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Alice was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things.

He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover his moderate length auburn hair. His hazel eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in the south to a Dyer, Thomas learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Adventurer, but he got bored and became a Dyer. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
