History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

History: Born to a Bounty Hunter, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
