She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When Griselda reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. Jane liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jane fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
