History: Conrad was born the youngest of three triplets. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Tanner and was forced into it by his family; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: He was born into a rich family. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it
