Description: This slender man stands about 5'7". He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Shane was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Description: This eastern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears a grey top hat and grey clothes. She has dyed her greying white hair a little too much giving a sharp white color. Her violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jane embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Melissa was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Doctor kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of orcs
