Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Don was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Through the years after Jane was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Jane's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: She was born in a small desert village. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.
