She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She's also a talented Bounty Hunter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Stableman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
