He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: A middle-aged man, he prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman, and is pretty ugly. His chestnut hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Patrick lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. A true patriot, Melissa would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she desires power and/or immortality
